June Paintings

Its been awhile since I have been able to up-date this, my off-line life has been keeping me busy.

The gallery has been painted and all sorts of new activities have been planned. Here are this months paintings. Tookie (seated) is shown painting the gallery and Strawberry (Terry Gallozzi) We have sad news Strawberry passed away recently. The officer was our judge this month.

Treasure Coast Art Association at Harbor Place Retirement Home

TCAA was in an art show at Harbor Place Retirement home today, it looked very nice. Above is Joan Lyon's paintings there and below is Cathy's beautiful bead work. Below that is me in today's paper while I was painting at TCAA last monday.

Sad News

I am very sad to tell you Lea Shaw passed away New Year's Eve. She was a wonderful lady who painted and taught to the very end.

December's Winning Paintings

August Winning Paintings

Winning paintings for July

Here are the prize winning paintings for July. Fawn McNeil and I got the first prize blue ribbons, Joan Lyons and Caesar Ivan Arias got red ribbons for second place. Tookie Niebert and Jerry Ross got 3rd place ribbons. Honorable mention ribbons were Barbara Brissette and Joe Newton.

March Demo

The painting is 12 x 16 oil. $300. The demo went well, we had a real good turnout, around 40 people came. I don't think I put anyone to sleep. ;oD Many thanks to Joan for her great intro, great refreshments and Tookie for all her phone calling. Lots of thanks to Ralph for all the work he did too.

March 2008 Art Show

Here is some of what is going on this month at the Treasure Coast Art Association. First is Joan Lyon's wall and then Tookie Niebert's wall, some of our other artist's paintings and the last photo is me by my wall.

I will be giving a painting demo on wednesday night, (March 12) at 6 pm.

Susan Tierney's Demo

Here Is Susan Tierney giving her monoprint demo. It was an excellent introduction to monoprinting, everyone enjoyed it a lot.

Tuesday Paintouts and Wednesday Demo

This tuesday 11-13 we will be painting at South Causeway Island park in Fort Pierce. Take US1 to Seaway drive going east towards the beach. Its on your left just after you go over the bridge. The Smithsonian has a nice aquarium there, used to be free on Tuesdays. I just looked at their site, looks like it still is.
Marine Ecosystem Exhibit

I'll be there around 9:30 plus or minus. Look for my red Jeep.

Don't Forget! Susan Tierney will be giving a painting Demonstration on monoprinting on November 14th, 5:30 pm. Monoprints are exciting to watch and do and lots of fun. Open to the public! On Ave. A downtown Fort Pierce at the TCAA.

Barbara Smyther's Wall

Note to artists, wall space is available monthly, $10. to hang a painting the whole month. The price of wall space - 1/3 of the wall- is $50. (9 feet of space ) for the month. If anything sells, the artist must give 10% of the selling price to TCAA.
